Kappa Alpha Theta expects each member to achieve high scholarship and strive for her highest intellectual and social potential. Last semester, the Beta Chi chapter had the highest grade-point average of all sororities at the University of Alberta. Beta Chi Thetas are very ambitious and are represented in every faculty on campus. Thetas aim to succeed in balancing their lives and do it all with excellence.

Our chapter helps each member grow scholastically and personally by holding Theta Study Days, and offering academic support for those who need it. Kappa Alpha Theta International Headquarters grants thousands of dollars in scholarships every year. Thetas are motivated to continue improving their academic performance each semester by the solid support system that the chapter gives them.
